CataLysT 2021

Saturday June 5

7:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Levine Museum of the New South cordially invites you to CataLysT, a come-as-you-are fundraiser that will entertain, enlighten, engage, and support the nation’s most unique history museum.  This year’s CataLysT is a hybrid event!  Join us for a safe and wonderful in-person experience – or join us virtually from the comfort of your own home.

Enjoy an evening of poignant performances by spoken word and musical artists and an inspiring virtual message from Princeton University professor, author, and MSNBC contributor, Dr. Eddie S. Glaude, Jr.

CataLysT will surely be a night to remember – a night of story, music, community, and reflection as Dr. Glaude speaks to America’s Great Promise. He will lay bare the tangled web of race, trauma and memory, and what we all must ask of ourselves in order to call forth a new America.

All contributions benefit Levine Museum’s efforts to build a stronger, more equitable community by connecting people to Charlotte and to each other through history, culture, and celebration.
